Sago or Semolina puddings

Ingredients
  • 1/2 oz. small or crushed grain - fine sago, semolina etc.
  • 1 pint of milk.
  • Sugar to taste.
Method

Bring the milk to the boil, then sprinkle in the grain,add the sugar, and stir and simmer until the mixture thickens: this will take 10-15 mins.

Pour into a pie dishand bake in a moderate oven (350F) until lightly browned - about 30 minutes.

Delicious mixed with jam, or Ice cream on the side.
