It is suggested that a boat snagging the trawl was the most likely scenario. If there was a boat in the area at the time belonging to the French or the UK there will be a record somewhere. Is anyone going to own up after all this time?

Stingray

I am missing the point of the thread title, having read the BBC report three times. Are you suggesting a French Submarine is responsible, A Brit or Dutch submarine is responsible or that the French enquiry has ignored the findings of previous French courts.

Just what are we suppose to be judging ourselves.

Is it just in the Clyde area that fishing boats have pingers fitted to their nets? (After the Trenchant incident).
